American culture in Post WWII Italy viewed through movie posters (March 18, 2014)
The exhibit Hollywood in Post-War Italy: Film Posters from Italy opened on March 18 at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood (Blue Building, 2nd Floor).  Organized by designLAb with the cooperation of the Italian Cultural Institute, it celebrates American Culture in Post WWII Italy. 100 extremely rare movie posters printed from 1945 through 1969 for such classics as Tea and Sympathy with Debora Kerr, 1956; Butterfield 8 with Elizabeth Taylor, 1960; and The Fortune Cookie with Jack Lemmon, 1966 will be on display until . The exhibit will be open until September 1 of this year.
The exhibit is part of WESTWEEK, the yearly event organized by the Pacific Design Center.
